Our team of waterfowlers are unique in many different ways. These men come from all walks of life and have
many different talents.  Some are champion callers and some are successful business men. Some are in the hunting
industry and some are full-time hunting guides and outfitters. Some have been in hunting magazines and some on
national television. They are all different in many ways, but there is one thing that all these talented individuals have
in common; they are as intense and dedicated as you will find. These are the men who work harder at being
successful in the field than anyone we know. They are the guys who will sleep in their truck just to get that "special
spot". They are they guys who will go out in the most extreme weather conditions to harvest a limit of greenheads.
When the hunting is tough they get tougher. They walk, talk, eat, sleep, breathe and live waterfowl and they are
our true friends! We are absolutely honored to have these individuals on our Crew!

Grant was raised on the family farm just north of his little hometown of Paradise
Hill, Saskatchewan, which he still calls his home. He grew up helping his Dad
Leonard on the farm. Leonard introduced Grant into the hunting and fishing
world at a very young age and always enjoyed taking his son along on moose
and deer hunting trips and on fishing excursions to the hardest to get to lakes.
Grant took over the family farm when he was 23 and ran a successful cattle and
grain farming operation which he is still running today. At 26 he began guiding
with his Brother in Law Skip Selk. He enjoyed guiding and decided one day
while he was out with a hunter that he needed his own opertion. That next year
he bought out a uncle of his that had a whitetail deer area and Buck Paradise
Outfitters was born. It has grown rapidly since then and now at this time Grant
currently runs four whitetail camps, two bear camps and two waterfowl camps.
Grant takes pride in his lodges, guides and gear to make sure that everyone that
comes to Buck Paradise has an excellent time. Some of the best whitetail deer,
bear and waterfowl habitat is found within Grants operation. Shelly, Grants wife
also contributes largely to the operation. Grant and Shelly have two sons, Garet
and Ian who also love to hunt and fish and will hopefully take over the Buck
Paradise Operation down the road. Grant feels very blessed to have such a
operation. His guides are like family and he has made many great friendships
with hunters that have come through his camps. Grant cannot think of anything
else in this world that he would rather be doing. He sums it up by saying, "In
what profession can you meet a total stranger and within three to five days build
a friendship that will last a lifetime and having that person leave with a
handshake and a smile on there face, it just does not get any better than that".
